A polyurethane panel corner is a decorative finishing element used to make corner joints in panel applications look neat and continuous. It is applied at the outer and inner corners where wall panels turn, in order to maintain pattern continuity. Polyurethane is lightweight and fixed directly to the surface with construction adhesive; it is resistant to moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Using a corner piece gives a cleaner, neater joint than cutting and joining the panels at the corner. Since it is mould-cast, the corner profile is produced to match the panel pattern and repeats identically on every piece.
