Polyurethane surround types cover the different section, width and ornament options of the surround profiles used around doors and windows. Plain, fluted, arched and patterned models are used on interior and exterior facades to frame door and window openings. Polyurethane is light and is applied directly to the surface with mounting adhesive or screws; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack or swell and can be painted. Because it withstands rain and moisture on the exterior, it lasts longer than stone and plaster. Because each type is mould-cast, the section and pattern repeat identically along the whole length. Polure produces surround types in a range of sections and sizes.
