Polyurethane surround models cover the different style, section and ornament designs of the surround profiles used around doors and windows. Plain, fluted, arched and patterned models are used on interior and exterior facades to frame openings and create a decorative look. Polyurethane is light and is applied directly to the surface with mounting adhesive or screws; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack or swell and can be painted. Because it withstands moisture on the exterior, it lasts longer than stone and plaster. Because each model is mould-cast, the section and pattern repeat identically along the whole length. They can be applied as a set with a head, base and arch. Polure produces surround models in a range of sections and sizes.
