Polyurethane Ceiling Beam

A polyurethane ceiling beam is a box-profiled decorative polyurethane element applied to the ceiling that mimics a timber beam. It is generally produced as a hollow U shape and, like a real timber beam, adds volume and a rustic or classical character to the ceiling. It is used indoors on hall, kitchen and living room ceilings, individually or in rows. The polyurethane beam is much lighter than real timber; handling and installation are easy, and it is applied to the ceiling with concealed blocks and adhesive. The material resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell, peel or rot, and can be painted; its wood-grain surface looks similar to timber. Because it is mould-cast, the surface texture repeats identically on every piece. Polure produces polyurethane ceiling beams in various size and surface options.
