Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (PU) with a density of 150-200 kg/m³, these capitals offer the physical hardness of wood alongside structural weight reduction, eliminating heavy static loads in modern building designs.

Historically, column capitals defined the architectural order of a structure. Our product range preserves these classical proportions while utilizing modern production techniques. The collection includes various styles designed to meet specific project criteria:

• Corinthian Capitals (e.g., P5230C): Featuring detailed acanthus leaf carvings, these models measure 543x543x420 mm, offering deep relief details that are highly durable and sharp, thanks to high-pressure metal molds.
• Ionic Capitals (e.g., P5220C): Defined by classical spiral volutes measuring 360x360x277 mm, providing a balanced, symmetrical transition for formal entryways.
• Doric and Minimalist Capitals (e.g., P5220D): Compact structures measuring 284x284x124 mm, ideal for low-ceiling applications or modern projects requiring clean geometric lines.

Material Performance: 150-200 kg/m³ Density

Unlike traditional plaster (gypsum) which is brittle and susceptible to moisture, or wood which suffers from rot and insect damage, our rigid PU material offers complete environmental resistance. With a water absorption rate under 1%, these capitals do not swell, warp, or crack when exposed to humidity or direct precipitation. The material operates stably within a temperature range of -20°C to +80°C, ensuring high dimensional stability across diverse climates. Weighing up to 90% less than natural stone counterparts, they can be mounted securely onto standard drywall, insulated facades, or concrete without requiring reinforcing steel brackets.

Surface Preparation and Coating Guidelines

Every Sütun Başlık product is delivered with a factory-applied matte primer, which prepares the surface for paint adhesion and supports both water-based and synthetic topcoats. However, it is critical to note that paint manufacturers generally do not guarantee paint adhesion unless their own proprietary primers are applied first. Therefore, applying an additional primer on-site is optional and remains at the customer's discretion. Polure does not provide paint warranties or accept liability for paint performance. For all exterior installations, the application of a high-quality, UV-resistant exterior paint is mandatory to prevent yellowing or surface degradation caused by solar radiation.
