window arch

A window arch is a curved or pediment-shaped polyurethane upper surround element applied to the top of a window. By framing the top of the window opening it gives the window a classic crown appearance; it can be in semicircular, segmental or triangular pediment form. It is used on facades and indoors as the upper part of window framing. It is mould-cast from polyurethane; it is light, applied directly to the wall with mounting adhesive, and resistant to moisture and impact. It does not crack or swell and can be painted; on exterior facades it is durable against sun and rain. Being light compared to plaster and stone equivalents makes installation at height easier. Mould production ensures the curve and details come out identically in every piece. Polure produces the window arch in dimensions compatible with side surround and sill elements.
