Polyurethane Round Curved Arch Trim Model

The P1456D230VI is a high-performance architectural component designed to frame window tops, door transoms, and wall alcoves. This pre-formed curved segment offers a structural solution for adding depth and defined shadow lines to transitions between walls and openings. By introducing a clean, curved geometry, it helps break up rigid flat planes and enhances the visual scale of any entryway or facade.

Manufactured from rigid, high-density polyurethane with a density of 150-220 kg/m³, this model provides a dense, impact-resistant surface comparable to hardwood. With dimensions of 137 mm in width, 1109 mm in length, and a height of 302 mm, it is designed to fit standard architectural openings. The closed-cell composition ensures water absorption remains under 1%, preventing the rotting, swelling, warping, or splitting commonly associated with exterior timber or plaster details.

The visual profile of this molding features a stepped outer fascia that transitions into a deep, smooth concave cove, ending in a flat bottom lip. This specific configuration creates dramatic contrast under natural or artificial lighting, accentuating the curve of the arch. The rear of the profile includes dedicated bonding channels to maximize surface contact during installation, ensuring a clean fit against the substrate.

This architectural trim is highly versatile, serving as a decorative header for arched windows on residential facades, an elegant transom accent above double doors in commercial lobbies, or a framing border for recessed display niches in restaurants. Because of its excellent moisture resistance, it performs reliably in high-humidity indoor environments such as indoor pools or spas, as well as on exposed exterior walls.

Handling and mounting are straightforward due to the lightweight nature of the material, which avoids placing unnecessary structural loads on the building. Installation requires securing the piece with polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive and reinforcing it with mechanical screws. The surface comes pre-treated with a factory primer, preparing it for a final coat of water-based or synthetic paint to match your color scheme.
