Ceiling beam decoration is the work of adding volume and character to a flat ceiling by applying polyurethane decorative beams. Hollow, wood-look beams are placed at certain intervals across the ceiling to create a rustic, classic or modern beam layout. It is applied on living room, hallway, cafe, restaurant and office ceilings. The polyurethane beams are lightweight and, being hollow, place no load-bearing weight; they are fixed directly to the ceiling with a mounting cleat or adhesive. They resist moisture and impact, do not crack, swell, warp or attract insects, and can be painted. They are far lighter than real wood, unaffected by moisture and quick to install.
