polyurethane decorative log

A polyurethane decorative log is a hollow polyurethane decorative element that imitates the look of a natural tree log. It is used as a decorative beam or post to create a rustic texture on ceilings and walls. The polyurethane material is lightweight and fixed with mounting adhesive and concealed supports; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, swell or split, and takes paint well. It is much lighter than a real log, unaffected by moisture and does not attract insects; being hollow, cables and plumbing can be concealed inside it. Because it is mould-cast, the bark and grain texture repeats on every piece, and the wood look can be made natural with paint. Polure produces the decorative log in a range of diameters and lengths.
