polyurethane pilaster cap

A polyurethane pilaster cap is a decorative polyurethane element applied over a pilaster shaft to finish it. It is produced with ornaments suited to classical orders and gives the pilaster a top accent. It is used together with the pilaster shaft and base on facades and interior walls. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly to the top of the pilaster and the wall with construction adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Being lighter than its stone or plaster equivalents makes carrying and installation easier.
