above-door arch decor
Above-door arch decor is an arch-form polyurethane decorative piece applied to the upper part of a door. It frames the doorway lintel with an arch to create a classical entrance look and can be completed with a keystone, profile or dentil ornament. It is used at interior and exterior door entrances and above passages. The polyurethane material is light and applies directly with assembly adhesive and screws; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. Because it is mould-cast, the arch profile repeats at the same radius on every piece. Being lighter than plaster makes installation easier, and unlike wood it is unaffected by moisture. Polure produces above-door arch decor pieces in a range of radii and widths.
