Polyurethane Decorative Curved Arch with Baroque Shell Ornament

The P1456D75VIA is a premium architectural arch element designed to elevate portals, doorways, and transitions in high-end design projects. Combining a smooth, clean semicircular profile with an ornate central shell keystone, this structural-look accent brings classical European proportions to modern and historical spaces alike. It serves as a striking focal point that adds depth and structural definition to any entryway.

Crafted from high-density rigid polyurethane with a density of 150-220 kg/m³, this arch offers the authentic feel and solid acoustic feedback of natural wood without the heavy weight or susceptibility to weather damage. Measuring 267 mm in depth, 1150 mm in horizontal span, and 782 mm in vertical rise, it delivers an impressive structural presence. Its closed-cell structure keeps water absorption under 1%, preventing warping, rotting, or cracking in temperatures ranging from -20 °C / +70 °C.

The visual highlight of this piece is its highly detailed baroque scallop shell motif at the center. The ornament features symmetrical acanthus leaf flourishes and a delicate beaded border surrounding a smooth central medallion. The product arrives pre-finished with a high-quality factory primer, providing a smooth surface ready for water-based or synthetic topcoats to match your specific palette.

This decorative arch is highly versatile and suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Indoors, it is ideal for framing grand hallway passages, library entrances, or formal dining room openings. On exterior facades, it serves as a majestic pediment over entrance doors or arched windows in classical villas, boutique hotels, and heritage restoration projects.

Installation is significantly faster and safer than traditional plaster or concrete alternatives. The arch is mounted securely using polyurethane (PU) mounting adhesive and mechanically reinforced with screws. After mounting, joints and screw holes are filled with acrylic compound, sanded smooth with 180-220 grit sandpaper, and painted. For outdoor installations, a UV-resistant paint is required to ensure long-term color stability.
