Polyurethane Decorative Beam

A polyurethane decorative beam is a hollow, U-section polyurethane element used to create the look of a wooden beam on the ceiling. It is applied on living room, kitchen and attic ceilings to give a rustic or classic texture. The polyurethane material is lightweight and fixed to the ceiling with mounting adhesive and concealed support blocks; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, swell or split, and takes paint well. Being much lighter than a real wooden beam, it can be installed by one person, plus it is moisture-resistant and does not attract insects. Thanks to its hollow structure, plumbing and cables can be concealed inside the beam. Because it is mould-cast, the wood grain texture repeats on every piece.
