A polyurethane window surround is a decorative polyurethane profile applied to the edges of a window opening to frame it. Mounted on the side and top edges of the window, it highlights the window on the facade and creates a tidy outline. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly to the facade surface with construction adhesive and screws. It resists moisture and outdoor weather conditions, does not crack or swell, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Since it is lighter than its plaster or stone equivalents, carrying and installation are easier on upper floors and labour time is shorter.
