polyurethane door surround

A polyurethane door surround is a polyurethane profile element that wraps the edges of doors and windows and frames the opening. Mounted around doors and windows on interior and exterior facades, it emphasises the opening and creates a decorative frame. Polyurethane is light and is applied directly to the surface with mounting adhesive or screws; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack or swell and can be painted. Because it withstands rain and moisture on the exterior, it lasts longer than a stone or plaster equivalent. Because the surround profile is mould-cast, the section and ornament repeat identically along the whole length. It is joined at corners with an arch or flat head. Polure produces the surround in a range of sections and sizes.
