The P5040B is a high-density architectural foundation component designed to serve as a robust and visually grounding base for flat wall columns. By bridging the gap between the floor and the vertical column shaft, this plinth provides the necessary structural weight and balance required for classical and transitional interior designs. It acts as an essential transition piece, enhancing the architectural depth of plain walls and framing systems.

Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane, this base features a density of 150-200 kg/m³, offering a level of hardness and impact resistance comparable to premium hardwoods. Measuring 65 mm in depth, 450 mm in width, and 745 mm in height, its substantial proportions make it highly suitable for large-scale residential and commercial projects. Unlike traditional gypsum plaster, which is prone to chipping, or MDF, which absorbs moisture and swells, this closed-cell material is entirely waterproof and immune to rot, decay, and insect damage.

The aesthetic appeal of the P5040B lies in its clean, geometric detailing. The center of the base features a recessed rectangular panel surrounded by precise, stepped moldings that create deep shadow lines. This multi-layered profile catches both natural and artificial light beautifully, highlighting the classical craftsmanship. The top of the plinth is finished with a molded cap profile, ensuring a clean, flush connection with the matching column shaft above.

This durable base is highly versatile and suitable for both interior walls and exterior building facades. In interior spaces, it is commonly used to anchor decorative pilasters in hotel lobbies, grand hallways, luxury living rooms, and restaurant dining areas. On exterior facades, it can be utilized to decorate main entrance pillars or window surrounds, provided it is finished with a protective UV-resistant exterior paint to prevent discoloration from sunlight.

For a secure installation, the mounting surface must be clean, dry, and free of dust. The plinth is adhered using a poliüretan (PU) montaj yapıştırıcısı and must be mechanically secured with screws for long-term safety. The product is delivered with a factory-applied primer that prepares the surface for painting. However, because paint manufacturers typically require their own specific primer systems to validate their warranties, applying an additional primer coat is optional and remains the responsibility of the customer.
