Above-door arch cladding is a polyurethane cladding piece that covers a flat or structural arch surface above a door. Fitted over an existing rough arch or lintel, it gives a profiled, ornamented and even surface. It is used at interior and exterior door entrances to renew an existing arch or create an aesthetic arch look. The polyurethane material is light and applies directly with assembly adhesive and screws; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. Being lighter than plaster makes installation onto the arch surface easier, and unlike wood it is unaffected by moisture.
