Polyurethane Decorative Round Arch Frame with Central Shell Ornament

The P1456D160VIA is a premium architectural embellishment designed to bring classical symmetry and grandeur to high-end construction and renovation projects. This semi-circular decorative arch is crowned with a highly detailed, central baroque-style cartouche, turning any standard passage or window into an artistic focal point. Engineered specifically for professional architects, interior designers, and builders, it seamlessly bridges the gap between historical aesthetics and modern material technology.

Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this arch mimics the solid feel and workability of premium hardwood while offering far superior durability. With dimensions of 267 mm in profile depth, 2000 mm in total span, and 1197 mm in height, it creates a substantial, three-dimensional presence on any wall. Its closed-cell molecular structure ensures a water absorption rate of under 1%, making it highly resistant to swelling, rot, mold, or warping, with dimensional stability tested between -20 °C and +70 °C.

Visually, the P1456D160VIA features a deeply recessed multi-step profile that effortlessly guides the eye toward the magnificent central ornament. The crown motif showcases a meticulously sculpted shell (coquille) design flanked by delicate acanthus leaf scrolls and a beaded oval medallion. This high-relief detailing is achieved through precision steel casting, guaranteeing crisp, consistent lines across the entire curve that traditional hand-molded plaster or gypsum simply cannot replicate.

This versatile architectural element is suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Indoors, it is ideal for framing grand entryways, separating formal dining rooms from living areas, or creating majestic alcoves in luxury residences, hotel lobbies, and upscale restaurants. Externally, it serves as an imposing pediment over arched windows or main entrance doors on classical, Mediterranean, or neoclassical facades, provided it is finished with a UV-resistant topcoat to prevent discoloration.

Compared to heavy plaster or stone, this lightweight polyurethane component dramatically reduces installation time and labor costs. It can be easily handled by a single installer and is mounted securely using a polyurethane (PU) mounting adhesive combined with mechanical screws for a permanent, safe hold. Delivered with a smooth, factory-applied primer, the surface is perfectly prepared for custom painting to match any design palette.
