classical architectural moulding

A classical architectural moulding is a slim decorative strip element running horizontally across a wall surface, shaped with classical profiles. It is used to divide a wall into horizontal lines, emphasise ceiling-to-wall or floor-to-wall transitions, and frame panel edges. Mouldings made from polyurethane are lightweight and, unlike wood or plaster versions, mount directly with construction adhesive. They resist moisture and impact, will not crack or swell, and can be painted. Because they are mould-cast, the profile cross-section stays identical along every metre, preserving line continuity at the joints.
