polyurethane pilaster column

A polyurethane pilaster column is a decorative element formed by a polyurethane shaft together with a capital and base, applied half-embedded into the wall to give a column appearance. It is used beside doors and windows and on facade and interior walls to create a vertical accent. Unlike a full column, it sits against the wall and takes up less space. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly to the wall surface with construction adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Being lighter than its stone or plaster equivalents makes carrying and installation easier. Since the elements are mould-produced, the fluting and section dimensions are identical on every piece.
