Polyurethane Decorative Curved Archway with Central Keystone

The P1456D115VIB is a premium architectural curved archway engineered to bring classical structure and sophisticated depth to transitional wall openings. Featuring a smooth, semi-circular profile topped with an intricately molded acanthus leaf keystone, this decorative element acts as an elegant crowning piece for doorways, passages, and exterior windows. It seamlessly bridges the gap between historical grandeur and modern building technology, providing a high-impact focal point in premium residential and commercial designs.

Crafted from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this archway offers the physical durability of solid hardwood without the excessive weight or susceptibility to environmental degradation. Measuring 1550 mm in width, 840 mm in height, and 211 mm in depth, its substantial dimensions are balanced by a lightweight structure that puts minimal load on walls. Thanks to its closed-cell composition, the material exhibits low water absorption (below 1%), ensuring it is highly resistant to rot, warping, and stable across a wide temperature spectrum from -20 °C / +70 °C.

Visually, the arch features a multi-stepped, clean profile that sweeps upward to meet a highly detailed, relief-style central keystone. This acanthus leaf motif serves as an authentic architectural crown, drawing the eye upward and creating an illusion of height and structural integrity. The flawless symmetry and smooth surface finish achieved through advanced molding technology ensure clean lines that require minimal preparation before painting.

This versatile archway is highly suited for both interior and exterior applications. Indoors, it creates grand entrances for living rooms, dining halls, and high-ceiling corridors, or serves as a dramatic frame for luxury alcoves. Externally, when coated with a UV-resistant finish, it serves as a robust header for main entrance doors or classical facade windows, adding substantial curb appeal to Mediterranean, Georgian, or Neo-Classical villa exteriors.

Installation is straightforward and highly efficient compared to heavy gypsum or stone alternatives. The arch is mounted using a high-quality polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive along the contact edges, supplemented by mandatory mechanical screw fastening to guarantee long-term safety. While the product is delivered with a factory-applied primer that prepares the surface, applying an additional primer layer is optional and depends on the specific guidelines of your chosen paint manufacturer. The entire assembly can be finished with two coats of water-based or synthetic paint to match your design scheme.
