Polyurethane Wood

Polyurethane wood is a polyurethane decoration material produced to imitate the texture and appearance of wood. A wood grain texture is embossed on its surface, giving an appearance similar to real timber; it is used in ceiling beams, rafters, log profiles, and wall claddings. Polyurethane is lighter than real wood, resistant to moisture and impact, does not rot, attract insects, crack, and can be painted if desired; being lighter than solid wood, it can be applied to the ceiling by one person and is installed with assembly adhesive.
