A polyurethane surround arch piece is an arched polyurethane surround part that frames the top of a door or window opening in a curved form. By joining the upper ends of the side surrounds, it gives the opening a curved arch shape. Polyurethane is light and is applied to the surface with mounting adhesive or screws; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack or swell and can be painted. Because it withstands rain and moisture on the exterior, it has the same lifespan as the surround. Because the arch radius and section are mould-cast, it joins neatly with the side surrounds and the details repeat identically on every piece.
