exterior columns
Exterior columns are vertical polyurethane shaft elements used on a building facade for structural or decorative purposes. They are used alone or together with a capital and base on entrance, balcony, terrace and canopy facades. Polyurethane columns are lightweight and applied with construction adhesive and, where needed, dowels; they resist moisture, rain and outdoor weather, do not crack or blister, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Because they weigh less than stone, concrete and wood equivalents, they add no extra load to the facade and can be carried by one person and installed faster. As they are mould-cast, the shaft profile repeats identically on every piece. Polure produces exterior columns in plain, fluted and classical models and in a range of diameters and heights.
