decorative column foot
A decorative column foot is the polyurethane base part at the very bottom of a column that carries the shaft to the floor. In a decorative column setup it is mounted beneath the shaft to give the column a stable, seated finish. The polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and is paintable. Being lighter than stone equivalents, it is easy to carry and place and adds no extra load to the floor. Because it is mould-cast, the profile and step details stay the same on every piece. Polure produces decorative column feet in a range of diameter and profile sizes.
