An exterior facade column foot is the polyurethane base piece at the lower part of a decorative column that separates the body from the ground and carries it. It performs the same function as the column base; it forms a widening seating surface at the bottom, giving the column a clean foundation. It is used beneath the columns at entrances, balconies and between windows on the facade. The polyurethane material is lightweight and fixed to the ground and the body with mounting adhesive. It resists moisture, sun and temperature swings; it does not crack or blister and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Being lighter than stone or concrete makes installation easier. Because it is mould-cast, the diameter of the foot is compatible with the column body.
