A polyurethane decorative arch is an arch-shaped polyurethane embellishment element placed above door and passage openings. It is used to create a classic look in living room entrances, niches and passage arches. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with mounting adhesive and, where needed, mechanical support; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, swell or split, and takes paint well. Compared with a plaster arch it travels without breaking and makes high-level installation easier, and unlike wood it is unaffected by moisture. Because it is mould-cast, the arch profile and embellishment detail are identical on every piece; on symmetrical openings the pieces complement one another.
