A decorative pilaster head is a polyurethane capital element that completes the upper end of a pilaster. Mounted at the top of a wall-mounted pilaster shaft, it provides classical-order ornamentation between the shaft and the upper part. There are motif options according to different orders such as Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with construction adhesive; labour is faster than with a stone equivalent. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and can be painted. Because it is moulded, the head details repeat identically on every piece.
