Polyurethane Round Arch Frame Model for Doors and Windows

The P14D25D120VI is a premium-grade architectural element designed to introduce soft, curved transitions into modern and classical building designs. This semi-circular structural frame bridges the gap between traditional masonry aesthetics and advanced lightweight materials. Engineered for both interior passages and exterior facade accents, it provides a clean, structured curve that breaks the monotony of sharp, angular spaces.

Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this arch frame offers the substantial feel of solid wood without the susceptibility to rotting, warping, or insect damage. With a precise span width of 1520 mm, a height of 760 mm, and a profile depth of 60 mm, it is perfectly proportioned for standard door frames and window headers. Assess water and moisture exposure using the product technical data, surface finish and installation details.

Visually, the arch features a meticulously designed stepped profile with concentric relief lines running along the curvature, framing a smooth inner bend. This classical detailing casts elegant shadow lines, adding depth and architectural interest to any opening. Unlike heavy plaster alternatives that are prone to cracking or chipping, this polyurethane component retains its sharp, crisp details indefinitely and arrives with a factory-applied primer coat, ready to be finished.

Highly versatile in its application, this round curved arch is frequently utilized to frame arched windows on building exteriors or to create grand, open-concept transitions in hallways, living rooms, and hotel lobbies. It is an excellent choice for neofederal, Mediterranean, or Georgian architectural styles. When used outdoors, applying a UV-resistant topcoat is mandatory to prevent discoloration and ensure long-term color retention against sunlight exposure.

Installing this lightweight architectural element is significantly faster than working with heavy stone or fragile gypsum. The process requires cleaning the mounting surface, applying a high-quality polyurethane (PU) mounting adhesive, and securing the frame mechanically with screws. While the factory primer prepares the surface, applying an optional secondary primer before the final two coats of paint is recommended to align with paint manufacturer warranties.
