An exterior facade door arch is a polyurethane decorative element in an arch or curved form applied to the upper part of a building's exterior door. It is used to crown the door opening with an arch and add emphasis to the entrance. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed to the facade with mounting adhesive and mechanical fasteners. It resists moisture, rain and sun; it does not crack, blister or rot and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Being far lighter than stone or concrete, it adds no extra load above the door and makes installation easier; compared with wood it does not absorb moisture.
