round door arch

A round door arch is a curved (arched) polyurethane frame element applied to the top of a door opening. It is used to give a flat-lintelled opening an arched, soft-lined look or to emphasise an existing curved opening. It is preferred to create a classical architectural effect on interior transition doors and living room openings and on exterior entrance door surrounds. Being made of polyurethane, the arch element is lightweight and, despite its curved form, easily bonded to the wall with adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or warp, and its surface can be painted. When the arch joins the side casings, the profile line continues without interruption.
