decorative transition arch
A decorative transition arch is a polyurethane arch element in a curved or straight form, mounted over the opening that separates two spaces. It is used in openings between a living room and corridor, or a hallway and seating area, to create a classic frame. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied directly over the opening with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lightweight, it adds no extra load to the wall and installs faster than its plaster counterpart. Because it is mould-cast, the arch profile repeats identically on every piece. Polure produces the decorative transition arch in sizes suited to different opening widths.
